Finally, I was able to attend my probably last conference in YFC – the CFC Youth for Christ ‘Shout Out! Metro Manila Conference held at the University of Rizal Systems Tanay, Rizal. As you all know, I’m currently attending the Christian Life Program of CFC Singles for Christ and I would really wanted to formally say goodbye to YFC. Though I am planning to attend the International Leaders Conference next year which will be held in Baguio City, I’m still unsure of going since the event will be held right after my graduation.
I was so happy and was refueled with all the activities in the Shout Out! Metrocon. It may not be as lively as the previous Metrocons I had attended, I still feel the energy and the spirit.
Seeing old faces of friends that have been part of my life in this community, I can say that it was mixed emotions on my part. I am happy that they are still in the community, that everyone is still active in their respective services but saddened to see those that I have broken their hearts due to past conflicts that I could not easily open in here. They are those that are indeed special to me but were crossed out in my journey. Yeah! Moving on wasn’t that easy. But the hardest thing is seeing them face to face, talking to them personally. But I’m sure God will provide me the peace of mind in facing them.
Hayz! I really love this community. I just don’t see myself without YFC being part of it. It had become my inspiration, my life. And I’ll miss my life being a YFC after stepping up into a higher service where maturity plays a lot bigger this time.
‘Move on Fjordz!’ That’s my Shout Out!
Here are some of our memorable shots:

i miss YFC as well. YFC will always have that special place in my heart. I have crossed over to Singles yet my heart still is longing for the energy and enthusiasm that YFC community has. I’d really love to serve one day again in YFC.
